I am assuming its not liking the form of the xml that has been output by EPG Collector. I am assuming its not liking the form of the xml that has been output by EPG Collector.
I think I had best post some logs, and the output over on the nextpvr forums and hope someone can tell me the right settings for the EPG Collector output. Update channel icon : Automatically update channel icons using information provided by the enabled EPG providers. Cron multi-line : Multiple lines of the cron time specification. no comment Cron multi-line : Multiple lines of the cron time specification.
Periodic save EPG to disk Interval : Writes the current in-memory EPG database to disk every x Hours (user defined), so should a crash/unexpected shutdown occur EPG data is saved periodically to the database (Re-read on next startup). EPG scan timeout in seconds : The multiplex (mux) is tuned for this amount of time at maximum.
Thanks for your input Sven I did a lot more reading and now have my XML file in C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Scripts I looked at using mc2xml but it does not work for New Zealand.
i now have Next PVR and Emby updating EPG automatically, but for some reason my Windows Schedule is now not working.
Use the 'Mapping' drop down to select your channel from the xmltv file. Next you can either repeat these steps for each of the channels, or hit the 'Bulk map' button and map the rest of the channels in one go.
3) Pull in the EPG, but going to the Settings-, perhaps you would like to try mine. It goes through the motions and doesn't crash or give any error msgs, but I get a guide full of nothing.
There is nothing wrong with your box - although you should have Channel 4 listings for next week. so have been using the builtin freeview (aerial) for TV, which is all working fine. The issue im having is:the EPG does not populate with information. If EPG data are completed before this limit, the mux is released sooner. The path field contains the absolute path of the unix domain socket into which EPG data can be sent. Note: for some systems the netcat flags can vary so please consult the man page.Checkbox list : Checkbox list to enable/disable available modules. To apply any changes please use the [Save configuration button] XMLTV/Py EPG - if you are using the internal versions of these modules then you must first configure them externally as Tvheadend provides no support for this.
